Student Visa (Subclass 500)
Student Visa (Subclass 500) can be applied by an overseas student who has enrolled in Australian course for study. Also, the student must have a valid health cover by Overseas Student Health Cover Provider. This visa is temporary allows the applicant for stay period up till 5 years depending on their course duration.
Eligibility
- You must be aged 6 or older to apply for this visa.
- If you are under 18 years of age, you must have adequate welfare arrangements in place while you are in Australia.

- You and family members aged 16 years and over who apply for the visa must meet our character requirement.
- You must have enough money to pay for your stay in Australia. Living costs vary throughout Australia and may be higher than what is needed for your visa application.
